The NUDE Layers collection, designed by Defne Koz, is built around the magic of overlap. Three blown-glass vessels in graphic forms are designed to nest within one another, their translucent hues merging where they meet — creating a shifting prism of colour that changes with the light. Individually striking, collectively extraordinary: a collection that rewards arrangement as much as the individual piece.

Defne Koz

Defne Koz is a Turkish industrial designer whose practice sits at the intersection of cultural heritage and contemporary innovation. She studied at the Domus Academy in Milan before joining the studio of Memphis legend Ettore Sottsass, an experience that shaped her ability to synthesise her Turkish roots with Italian design culture. Her work humanises new technologies, rediscovers artisanry, and celebrates material sensuality across a wide range of product types. Together with Marco Susani, she co-founded Koz Susani Design in Chicago, creating everything from high-tech devices to luxury crafts and domestic objects. Her work has been recognised by Elle Decor International, Red Dot, and the German Design Council, and exhibited at venues including Milan's Triennale and Ozone Gallery Tokyo.
