Memento Mori, from the Latin ‘Remember you will die’, is less a doom-laden prophecy, but instead an inducement to live every day to the full, as if it might be your last.

A reflection on life’s inevitable end, the NUDE Memento Mori collection takes a modern approach to the medieval mantra. Created by the Istanbul-based designer, Ali Bakova, this small skull-shaped ornament is cut from clear lead-free crystal with facets that explode in luminosity. The precise harmony of this piece culminates in a sculptural aesthetic —at once functional and artistic.

Precise shapes and translucent shades merge in the NUDE Layers vase. Forged from blown glass in graphical forms, every piece from the range has been designed to sit within one another so that their sheer hues may overlap — the result being a magical prism of colour.

Sleek and elegant, this NUDE Lady water carafe lives up to its name. Crafted from lead-free crystal, the design is noticable for its intricate pleated motif adorning the rim — a nod to the crisp ruffled collars, historically reserved for royals and nobility.
