Alejandro Ruiz

Alejandro Ruiz was an Argentine industrial designer born in Bahía Blanca in 1958. He graduated from the Industrial Design Department in 1984 before earning his master's degree from the Domus Academy in Milan in 1986, a city that would become the centre of his creative life. Through his studio, Studioruiz, he collaborated with internationally recognised brands across packaging, interior design, store design, and exhibition design. He also taught at the Domus Academy and the Faculty of Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano. In 1994, he co-founded Lessdesign with Anna Lombardi, a practice dedicated to developing considered industrial projects. His work was exhibited across Italy, France, Finland, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
